WELL!!! To say that this week, has been a great experience would be an understatement of tremendous proportions.
Guildhall Jazz Festival 2012 brought the usual top quality small band performances, (which I shall mention in more detail later) but also outstanding performances from David Friesen, the more left field Improvised music from Phil Minton & Maggie Nichols, but also a blisteringly hot finale from Liane Carroll on the Saturday Night, which I was privileged enough to perform in with the Guildhall Jazz Choir & Ensemble directed by Malcolm Edmonstone.
