It's been a couple of weeks since Boris has said we can we can go out a bit more again... which means WE'RE ON A MIXING MISSION!
Yes, FINALLY we've been able to press on with getting The Nick Ross Orchestra's new record that we recorded back in March at Abbey Road Studios mixed. Which ultimately meant, 'ROAD TRIP'!
And so came the 5 hour journey up to Red Rooster Recording Studios on the North Norfolk coast away where myself, Nick, David (our touring/mixing engineer) and Lee (Lead Trombone) spent a few days away from anyone and anything!... no COVID is getting us, thanks! 😉
I always forget how intense the mixing stage is and 17 tracks takes alot of time and energy (even though we recorded the whole lot in a day!)
